The Hanging church built on top of the pillars of the Roman fortress, The church of St.Serguis which known as the cavern church, and St. George church which is controlled by Greeks , looking as a very modern European Church. The citadel of Salah Din

Where we have mosques too. For example the mosque of Mohamed Ali which is a copy of Hjya Sophia in Istanbul, built by the founder of the Modern Egypt. There is one more mosque too in the same fence which is the most ancient founded in the citadel .This mosque of Nasser Mohamed dates back to the 13th century.
