In the afternoon, we take a felucca to the Botanical Gardens where Lord Kitchener indulged his passion for exotic flora, importing shrubs, trees and seeds from as far afield as India and Malaysia. It will be very pleasant to walk along the island\u2019s shady paths, enjoying its fragrance and a variety of bird life before sailing back to Aswan.
